My dream has come true. Thanks to the master's degree I took at ESMUC, the Bratislava Orchestra has been able to perform and record musical compositions composed by me for my Final Project, choosing scenes from my favorite composition style.
It has been an experience I will never forget.
UNA MÀ DE CONTES
"Una Mà de Contes" is a program on the most popular TV channel in Catalonia in which the main audience is primary school children. Thanks to the collaboration between 3cat and ESMUC I was able to participate in an episode as a musical composer playing with the children's voices recorded in the same Tv3 studios

"HANE: PILLARS OF THE SKY" is the first score I've composed for a videogame which was created by some students for my final project in my degree at Universitat de Barcelona.
STAR TREK: INTO THE DARKNESS SCENE
For one of the courses in the Master's program at ESMUC, we were given the opportunity to select a scene from an existing film and compose a score for it. Based on personal preferences, I chose a scene from the movie Star Trek: Into Darkness.
I found this particular moment particularly compelling, as the music plays a crucial role in reflecting the sadness of the farewell between the two main characters.

WHO AM I
My name is Arnau Gari, I was born in Barcelona on February 18, 2003 and I am currently doing a Master's degree at ESMUC (Higher Music School of Barcelona) specialized in composing Soundtracks for audiovisual projects.
Since I was little I have been fascinated by the world of the music. I started being interested in dancing until I discovered the piano at 13 years old. It captured me in such a way that I could no longer imagine my future without it.
And so, first as self-taught and then with the help of inspiring teachers I have acquired the musical knowledge to compose my own music and realize that my dream is to become a soundtrack composer.
I chose the soundtracks because of my love for the cinema and because of the emotional power that the music has in the scenes.
My references are masterpieces like Interstellar, Oppenheimer and composers like Hans Zimmer and Fernando Velázquez.
When I think about my future I cannot imagine music not being my own soundtrack.
I feel very lucky to be able to dedicate myself to what I am most passionate about, whether it is composing music for audiovisual projects for films, video games or advertising.
Whatever it is, it will sound great.
